“my adult daughter on the autistic spectrum and I went to a local cafe for brunch. after a delicious meal, the server came over and told us the check was paid for by an unnamed person. I was amazed and sad that I couln’t say “thank you”. Then she told me about the goosey fund and not I am googling it. What a gift Lauren has created with her generosity.” -anonymous

My friend and I were goosed tonight in Jackson, WY! We went to pay and were told, "The cowboy who was sitting to your left took care of your bill....here...," and he handed us the Goosey Fund card.

We will reciprocate!

How cool. Absolutely the nicest feeling ever to be surprised by someone's unconditional generosity.

“Love seeing people pay it forward. Today in the drive through for Dunkin’ Donuts something told me to Goose someone. I pull up to pay for my order and the one behind me. I then learned that someone started a line of paying it forward. The 5 cars in front of me all paid for the coffee in the car behind them. It made my day.”

Every Sunday my wife and I take our 16 month old son Roman to Cape Cod Coffee for an early Sunday morning breakfast. It’s truly the highlight of his week. He makes a complete mess as any toddler would do, eats the crayons, drinks his chocolate milk and is simply adored by the wonderful staff in this establishment. Today was like any other Sunday, Roman was interacting with all the tables around us, and my wife and I were doing our best to entertain him, feed him, and feed ourselves at the same time. With all the Covid-19 precautions in place, this can sometimes be a difficult task. When we received our check, the waitress said to us “You’ve Been Goosed!” and presented us with a card. Having no clue what this meant, I quickly glanced at the card and realized somebody in the room was kind enough to pay for our breakfast. I’ve always heard of random acts of kindness such as these, but I’ve never been on the receiving end. It’s truly heart warming, especially during the holiday seasons. On behalf of the Hill family, we would like to thank whoever did this, and I can assure you we will pay it forward and pass this card along to someone deserving. Thanks again, and Happy Holidays!!
